Whereas critical race studies and critical race theory advocate for a race essentialism that threatens the unity of the people of Texas,
Be it resolved that; no university or college in Texas should be permitted to use any public funding to finance programs, courses, organizations, or guest speakers that explicitly focus on and advocate for critical race studies, whether in terms of theory, practice or application.
A copy of this resolution should be sent to the Senate District Convention Resolutions Committee from Precinct 2448 with the recommendation that it be passed and sent to the State Convention Platform committee of the Republican Party of Texas.
Beit resolved the legislature shall enact legislation stating that no public university of college in texas shall compel university staff, professor, teacher asst, or student to adopt , affirm, adhere to, or profess ideas in violation of title 4 or title 6 of the civil rights act of 194, including but not limited to the following:
that individuals of any race ethnicity color or national origin are inherently superiour or inferiour
that individuals should be adversely or advantagaeously treated on the basis of thier race ethnicity color or national origin
that infividuals, by virtue of race ethnicity color or national origin bear collective guild and are inherently responsible for actions commited in the past by otehr members of teh same race ehnicity color or natioal origin
be it further resolved the legislature shall establish that no public university of college in texas shall recieve sstate funding when found in violation fo the th abore, ntil such a violation is corrected
